Short Story Competition 2014

The West Wind Blows on Connemara Community Radio invite you to take part in our annual short story competition.

To enter you must be 18 years or over. The story may not exceed 1,500 words. Stories must be original. There is no restriction on theme or style.

The entries will be judged by Denis Creaven Institute of Education, Leeson Street, Dublin. The closing date for entries is 10th October 2014.

A double CD 'Come By The Hills' featuring some the best of Connemara talent was launched by Connemara Community Radio on Monday the 24th of March in Foyle’s Hotel Clifden.

Artists include Fiachra O’Regan, Liz & Yvonne Kane, Mirella Murray of Cherish the Ladies, Marie Walsh & John Gerard Walsh, Michael Heanue, Tommy Kenny from Clifden, Barbara Burke from Carna, Annabella Lydon from Letterfrack.
