Walkathon 2006It’s that time of year again and “The Walkathon” Connemara Community Radio’s main annual and most successful fundraiser is almost here. Just to remind you that the money raised goes towards our transmission costs which for 2005 were in excess of €12,000. Last year we raised €6066.50. Unfortunately we did not reach our target of €10,000, this year hopefully! This is the 6th year of the walkathon. The route is again to cover over 30 miles. If you wish to be a walker we need you to confirm that you will raise at least €300 and contact us in the next two weeks. The walk…….. Day
